Join Perth Women's Collective and PKAVS Tampon Taxi team for an evening of film screenings and discussion on the topic of period poverty as part of the International Women's Day celebrations.
We will be screening two short films:
Girl | A young girl gets her period while on the move
Bloody Activist | Rousing portrait of the fledgling activist who set out to provide free sanitary products for those who can’t afford them.
The screenings will be followed by a short talk from Jenni Keenan of the Tampon Taxi team at PKAVS on the local context, followed by further discussion on all things menstrual health.
Refreshments provided. Event will take place at PKAVS. Tickets are FREE but must be booked at perthwomenscollective.com
