About the Event
Join us for our first Feminist Film Group discussion!
This month we are discussing 'NYAD', "the remarkable true story of athlete Diana Nyad who, at the age of 60 and with the help of her best friend and coach, commits to achieving her life-long dream: a 110-mile open ocean swim from Cuba to Florida." (IMDB)
You are invited to watch the film in your own time before the event and join us for a discussion and reflection on the film and it's themes.
This is a Perth Women's Collective event. Anyone identifying as a woman or non-binary is welcome. We strive to make our events as accessible as possible; if you have any accessibility concerns please do get in touch and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
We will be meeting in the former cafe space at AK Bell Library; walk in the main entrance and it's the first door immediately on your right.
